2. General Return Policy for Groceries

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.

  • Fresh Produce, Meat, Dairy & Bakery Items: We cannot accept returns of perishable goods for reasons of quality or freshness unless the item is proven to be spoiled or unsafe at the time of delivery/pickup. Please inspect these items immediately upon receipt.
  • Non-Perishable & Packaged Goods: Unopened, non-perishable items in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt for a full refund or exchange.
  • Defective or Spoiled Products: If you receive a product that is spoiled, damaged, or defective, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery/pickup. We will require photos of the product and may arrange for a pickup of the item. Upon verification, we will gladly offer a full refund or replacement.

3. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, please ensure:

  • The item was purchased in the last 30 days.
  • The item is in its original packaging, unopened, and unused (where applicable).
  • You have the original receipt or proof of purchase.

4. Online Orders (Delivery & Pickup)

  • Incorrect or Missing Items: If your delivery or pickup order is missing an item or contains an incorrect item, please notify us within 2 hours of receiving your order. We will investigate and provide a refund for the missing/incorrect item.
  • Delivery Issues: Refunds or redelivery for orders not received due to providing an incorrect address or not being available at the time of delivery will be issued at our discretion.

5. Process for Returns & Refunds

To initiate a return:

  2. Upon approval, we will provide instructions for returning the item to our store or for arranging a pickup.
  3. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

6. Employment & Visa Program Fees

AG FOOD is a designated employer under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Please note:

  • AG FOOD does not charge any fees to potential employees for recruitment, job offers, or LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) applications.
  • All related government processing fees for work permits are the responsibility of the applicant.
  • No refunds are applicable for government processing fees, regardless of the application outcome, as these are paid directly to the government and are non-refundable.

7. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us at [Insert Contact Email/Phone].

8. Shipping Costs for Returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning an item unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we sent the wrong item). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
